About Us
Bamburi/Kanamai Cluster is an amalgamation of 20 churches working together for holistic development of children in Mombasa and Kilifi County. The cluster is currently assisting 5,691. poor children in the areas of spiritual, physical, socio-emotional and cognitive development
Establishment
Its establishment was due to the following setbacks and gaps experienced in the society:
1. Financial constraints amongst the families registered under church programs.
2. The growing number of children joining institutions making it hard for the Churches to fully fund.
3. Increased school drop outs due to inability to pay school fees.
4. Negativity towards formal education.
Sources of Funds
We source funds from: grants, well-wishers, contributions from Child Development Centers stakeholders and yearly fund drive.
